"I was not a confident sewer and had no knowledge of patchwork or quilting when first I joined the class.  I felt apprehensive but I needn’t had worried.  Lesley was so welcoming and manages to help all the students whether beginners like me or those with more experience.  I have steadily increased my skills and learnt loads.  Although my long term aim is to make a quilt, Lesley demonstrates a different technique each week.  These projects are really inspiring and I recently took a break from the quilt to make a ‘stained glass window’.  It is now hanging in my home and I feel really proud of it as it is the first piece of artwork I have ever made that I can display!
